Workshop for Experienced Knitters & Crocheters!
Do you love to knit or crochet and long for a way to help your community through your craft? Join us to learn more about S.A.C.K., a nationwide charitable organization made up of volunteer knitters and crocheters. S.A.C.K.’s vision is to inspire groups of volunteers around the country to crochet/knit soap sacks, then collect and donate soap to local food pantries, homeless shelters and others in need. In this workshop you will learn about this organization, receive a soap sack pattern and try your hand at knitting your first soap sacks. Bring your own knitting needles and/or crochet hooks size H(5.0mm) or I(5.5mm). Yarn will be provided. There is no commitment to joining S.A.C.K. for attending this workshop.
*Cost of workshop is non-refundable.*
