Meet the Makers
Prickly Pear Farm Nursery & Gifts
Prickly Pear Farm Nursery and Gifts is a local family business that was started by Terese Polgrean, and her brother Kevin Doyle. The two specialize in creating original custom arrangements that are locally grown and propagated in the Central Valley. They began selling their arrangements and handmade cement planters at the original Vintage on Fourth in Clovis as a fun hobby that quickly grew to a full time passion, while Kevin is the talent behind the construction of their Nursery (coming soon!) and many of the containers used in our unique arrangements. They are both Clovis natives that both share a love of family, outdoors and all things succulents.

Legacy of Love Creations
Ashley Luis is the stay-at-home Maker Mama behind Legacy of Love Creations. She is a wife and mother to two littles who lives her life for the Lord, which is reflected through her ministry and shop. She came across Bible Journaling three years ago and because it got her reading her Bible regularly for the first time, as well as growing immensely in her relationship with God, she wanted to share this creative faith resource with others. She has found her passion in encouraging women to explore their Bibles for the first time, or in a new and meaningful way. Ashley even teaches classes to help women do so! She gives God all the glory for the success of her little ministry and is grateful for the gift of serving Him in this way. Because she has been forever changed through connecting with God’s precious Word, she wants to help encourage and equip others to do the same; one beautiful Bible at a time!
Amber House Soaps
Amanda's soap studio is located in her home which sits on a country road called Amber. When her family first bought their home, they referred to it as The Amber House and the nickname stuck. It felt right to name her business after the home she shares with her husband and three children. After all, she has been blessed to have the opportunity to operate it from her home where she can be with her kids while still pursuing her passion. Amanda started making soap in 2012 hoping it would alleviate the eczema she and her kids struggled with. She is also very conscious of the ingredients in the products their family uses because she has a child with serious food allergies. Amanda discovered handmade soap improved her family's skin and also that she loved making it! She has been making batches of soap ever since. Amanda enjoys sharing her creations with others and the community has been unimaginably supportive. It brings her great joy to think that her products may bring relaxation and enjoyment to others.
Originals by Sarah Young
A few years ago, Sarah had been balancing her time between being a wife, a mom, and teaching art. She and her family had just moved to the country and had created a few pieces of art for our walls using wood she had found on the property. Friends and family started asking for them and her business began. The string art addition came a couple years later when Sarah was looking for a way to set her art apart and add texture and depth to her pieces. She searched her garage for some nails and string and experimented with some simple designs. It's fun to think how far her art has come from there. With the help of her amazing husband, they work hard to create unique original art for your home. They take pride in every piece and make everyone as if it was going to hang in their own home.
Poppy Beach Jewelry
Sarah has always had a love for collecting sea glass. She found it fascinating that nature can turn someone's trash into something so beautiful. She has always wanted to make jewelry from the sea glass that she has collected, so a few years ago she decided to finally learn. Sarah started out with simple sea glass designs and now also included some enamel work. She truly loves creating jewelry and learning new techniques. All of the sea glass that Sarah uses is collected by her and her family. They live a couple of hours from the coast, so it is easy to take day trips to Monterey, San Simeon, Cambria, and other locations along California's Central Coast.
